1. St. Pete Pier
This place is so full of activities for every person that you can be having fun all day completely free. It’s a pet-friendly place, so you can bring your fur friend to take a walk here. The views are just spectacular (watching sunsets and the full moon over the seawater is just magical). Childs can explore the Tampa Bay Watch Discovery Center, play in the Great Lawn, and wet wild in the Splash Pad (you can do that too).

2. Fort DeSoto Park:
A fantastic natural reserve made of 1136 acres, being the largest park in Pinellas county. Here you’ll find so many varieties of landscapes and types of ecosystems that you’ll be fascinated. This park’s main attraction is the beach (15 beautiful keys that you can explore with your family and friends), but this park has so much more than that; you can go fishing, hiking, paddling, biking, rollerblading, observe the more than 300 birds species, and if you want you can make camping too. Undoubtedly, Fort DeSoto is a place that every person who lives in St. Petersburg must know!

3. Sunsets at Pier 60:
Open all year, this fun spot is available to the people that live in Pinellas County and want to enjoy the sunset with music presentations, live entertainment, movies, and of course, all the local commerce offering the best crafting products in Tampa Bay. This place works every day of the year from two hours before the sunset until two hours after. It’s an excellent place to take a walk with the kids, with friends, and having a nice family-time without money worries.

4. Morean Arts Center:
This is a museum with world-class art pieces; created by locals and international artists. This contemporary gallery is one of Florida’s oldest exhibitions, and you can appreciate all this art completely free. The Morean Arts Center offers classes for those interested in making art (these classes are not free).
Crossing the street, you can find the Chihuly collection, created by the international artist Dale Chihuly. This exhibition’s particularity is that it is the first installation of Chihuly art in a building designed specifically for that purpose. For visiting this collection, you must buy a ticket online, but it’s free for children.

John’s Pass Village & Boardwalk:
One of the most visited attractions in the Tampa Bay area, offers super fun activities and an outdoor shopping and dining complex, counting with more than 100 stores and restaurants with the most delicious food. This site is also the spot for the annual John’s Pass Seafood Festival, held the last weekend in October; arts, crafts, and entertainment will be waiting for you in this event.

St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral:
If you appreciate the architecture, this place will make you feel in Paris. The Greek Orthodox Cathedral (built in 1943) replaced an older structure constructed in 1907 by Greek settlers. The stained glass, the colors, the domed basilica, and the peace of this place will make you live an experience that you’ll never forget.

Located in St. Pete Beach, this park is the place for many events and movie projections.
